Masters of Arts in Humanities in Caribbean and Latin/o American Studies (CLAS)
A Multi-Sited Pre-Professional Program in Advanced Studies and Research
Fourth Semester: Buffalo
Upon returning from Spain and before the Fall semester is over, you will be asked to define the specific thematic scope of your Master’s thesis/project. Given the trans-disciplinary nature of our program students are given a broad field of action and strongly encouraged to frame their thesis/project in the a way that helps them maximize their educational or career goals after graduation.
All US based students are required to be in residence in Buffalo during the entire duration of the Spring semester of their second year in the program. Although you will work independently on your own research or project, you remain in close contact with your faculty advisors and participate in a Works in Progress Seminar with your classmates mid way through the last semester.
